The Star Theater opened around 1911. In 1918 W.S. Quimby purchased the Star Theater and renamed it the Dream Theater. In 1933 a new owner changed the name to the Peoples Theater.

In April of 1951 another new owner, Frank Pratt changed the name again to the Holly Theater. The Holly Theater closed in March of 1955. The building was demolished in October of 1971.
