The West Point Theater is listed in 1943 with a seating capacity of 100. Boxoffice magazine announced in October 1945 that the West Point Theater was closing, and after some renovation would be renamed the Star Theater.

In the 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook, there are two theatres listed as operating in West Point, KY; the 150 seat Star Theater and the 200 seat West Point Theater.

The
Star Theatre AKA West Point later became a Masonic Lodge located at 544 Main St.
