The Statesville Landmark announced the sale of the Crescent Theater to Hill’s Theatres of Greensboro in March 1921.

The Crescent Theatrer was still operating in 1950.

The address cimes up a Jewwelry Store on Yahoo.

The 456 seat Crescent Theatre was operated by Statesville Theatre Co. from 1940 thru closing in 1955.

The same Jewelry Store (Gregory’s) shows up using the map button in the header with the address that I gave of 122 W. Broad St. on 7/31/09.
