At the link below is a newspaper ad for the movie “SATAN” OR “THE DRAMA OF HUMANITY” showing at the Opera House in 1913. The movie, which is a retitled version of an Italian movie named SATANA was produced in 1912

Wow, I wonder what kind of performance the outlaw Cole Younger provided on this occasion. Did he rob the playgoers?!

The Opera House had 200 seats according to a Gleason History website:

“In the early 1900’s, an opera house was built above Ammon’s Drugstore. The electric lighting came from privately installed dynamos across the street. With a seating capacity of 200 people, the space was often filled when traveling theatrical companies came to town. Moving pictures were often shown and once, Cole Younger, the famous outlaw, gave a performance”.
