The Strand Theatre was located on the corner of W. Washington Street and N. Adams Street. It was one of the five downtown theatres. In the 1941 and 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook, it was listed as being operated by Paramount Pictures Inc. through their subsidiary M.A. Lightman. It was still operating in 1950.
It has been demolished and the building at the location is a Jewelry Store. The Strand Theatre and the old Malco Theatre are the only two of the five to have been demolished. I could only find mentioning and addresses for the Strand theatre on a couple history sites for the County.
