The Gaiety Theatre was built in the 1940’s, and restored in 2000. The CBC movie "Prairie Giant" premiered here. Bits of this theatre were used in the film.

Seating is listed at 430. From the street view the theatre has been altered since the photo on flickr was taken, the marquee is gone. Also I found it mentioned that the Gaiety closed in 2010.
