The Korsor Biograf Teater opened on 30th January 1907. Today it screens first run films and is operated by a team of volunteers.

On 25 July 2008, the Guinness Book of Records designated the Korsor Biograf Teater as the oldest operating cinema in the world, and will be included in the 2010 edition of the book.
