Found this theatre while looking through the "Images of America" book on Kingston, in Kingston.
There’s a picture of the theatre being retrofitted for Cinemascope.
"The Sunset Drive-In on Route 28 (the old Plank Road) is receiving a 1957 retrofit to accommodate Cinemascope movies…The drive-in occupied the approximate location of the first tollhouse on the road."

The Sunset Drive-In is listed in the 1975 IMPA with a capacity for 535 cars.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 219 New York 28. Now His Word Reveal Church.
