Located in the Lower Stanley Hall (I have not found details of where this hall was in Islington), the Electric Theatre opened in June 1909. Operated by Electric Theatres (1908) Ltd., it was closed in 1916.

Its my understanding that this cinema was located at 176 Junction Road. It is now a hall behind Boston Arms pub. But has an engraving on the side of the building indicating it was originally Stanley Hall, built in 1884. I think as public baths.
