The Leroy Theater was opened by brothers Lee and Roy Walker around 1917. The theater was destroyed by fire in 1970.

The Leroy went through many owners, Griffith Amusment, Westex Theatres, Theatre Enterprises, Frontier Theatres and Commonwealth Theatres until the fire of 1970.
