The Quay Theatre in Quay Lane, Sudbury is a conversion of an 1791 granary. An out of town location on the banks of the River Stour ensure a tranquil setting. The Arts Centre opened in 1981, and in addition to the 125 seat cinema / theatre, contains a gallery and cafe.

On the cinema operation days, there is a screen lowered by an electric motor. Matinees of classic films are particularly popular with the local population!

There is a platform stage for live productions with a performance area of 6.1m x 6.6m
