Eyeland Optical at 26 E. Downer Place has its entrance roughly where the ticket booth would be.

The other fox, which I can’t seem to find a listing for, was designed by william barfield, who also did the hinsdale

Charles, I am not familiar enough with Aurora’s theater history but I would venture to guess that the Coliseum on Front Street may have been named for this theater, after it was renamed the Fox.

Bryan I also show that there was a Coliseum Theatre on Front street that opened in 1923 and closed in 1951 – any relation to the hte Colesium above?
