Located in the east London district of Bow. A conversion of a former Methodist school-room by the architectural firm Moffatt & Dearing. Bromley Picture Palace was opened in September 1910. It later became the Tidey Street Picture Palace, and following some rebuilding work,in 1919, it was re-named Whitehorn Cinema.
It was closed as a silent cinema in 1930, due to a licencing problem, and never re-opened. The Queen Mary Nursery now operates from the site.
