The Northside Drive-In was opened in June 1962 with William Lundigan in “The Underwater City” & “The Three Stooges Meet Hercules”. Closed in the early-1980’s. Is now a sub-division.

June 13th, 1962 2-page grand opening ad in photo section. It was on 99th and SR 431.

Needless to say, the homeowners living just east of the drive-in was unhappy.

Gwin Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46032 will take you right to the spot of land this ozoner sat on. Visible in the 1966 Historic Aerial.
The address above is incorrect. Gwin Dr. did not exist when this drive in was open. That street and the surrounding area was the theater itself.
The address for this theater is 9985 Westfield Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46280. This points directly to the entrance road which is now Walden Ln.
Please update.
Opened with some colour cartoons(not named), and “The underwater city” and “The Three Stooges meet Hercules”.
