Located on the once fashionable Boulevard dui Regina Elisabeta. The Art Deco style Capitol Cinema opened in the 1930’s.

It had closed by Summer of 2002 and stood empty and unused. I believe by 2008, it was in use as an Outlet clothing store.

A photograph of a former entrance to the Capitol Cinema. This was possibly the front stalls entrance at the rear of the building, as it has a small paybox:
