The Mustang Drive-In was located on the north side of Soledad Canyon Road between Canyon Country and Saugus in the Santa Clarita Valley. At the time there wasn’t much along this stretch of road, including traffic signals, between Canyon and Saugus. Now the area is very developed and no trace of the drive-in remains.

Here is a 1977 aerial photo. I had to use Santa Clarita instead of Saugus, though.

I used to help run the projectors there. had a lotta fun back then. drove my van to the back row and parked sideways and partied. good days/nights
