Memorial Hall Cinema

Located in Chwilog, near Pwllheli, the Memorial Hall was built during the period 1923/25 and after completion a Mr. Green hired the hall and began film shows. It is not known how regular these were but the population suggests that this would not have been more than once or twice a week. They would have appeared to have died out before the coming of sound as no sound system was ever fitted.
