The Ritz Theatre opened in 1939, with seating listed at 800. The theatre was owned by Fred T. McLendon and operated by Affiliated Theaters, a subsidiary of McLendon Theatres. The building was rather plain, a red brick building with a flat attraction panel on the side facing the parking lot.

The Ritz Theatre closed in 1985 and is now a performing arts center. Any further information on this theatre would be appreciated.
