The Eric Twin Theatre was operated by Budco, and closed in May 1987. It may have opened in 1970. The theatre was built in Brookhaven, in Delaware County, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I will try and take some pictures of it. It still has the poster frame and box office sign. It’s now a beer store. It’s in a shopping Center.

In 1970 and a company builds a Twin Theatre, must have been one of the last BIg twin theatres built.Don’t get me wrong,I wish that would have been as large as theatres got.A 20 plex? Don’t like “walmart moviegoing”.
in April of 84, Friday the 13th, the final chapter was shown there…
Private school with phoebe cates played here in July of 1983..
If this theatre was called the Eric Twin, would it not have been a Sameric Theatre???? Sameric Theatres were taken over by United Artists about the time this theatre closed if my memory serves me correctly at which time a number of Eric Theatres were closed.
dennis. i think you are right about that… On another theater site. it has a sign for it. saying sameric. I will try and link it.
Closed in May of 87. Last 2 movies here were Gardens of stone and Blind Date…
Evil Dead 2 played here in Spring of 87. right before its closing.. I think it would be the last horror movie to play here..
