I don’t know much about this one but I do know it replace the Hudson Cinema 4. The cinema was a dump, very small and poorly run. I think they opened this as the Hudson 9 and expanded to 12. I have never been to this one but I don’t get to Hudson much anymore.

CEC has one other theater in Wis in Rice Lake. The quality there is so bad that your lucky if they can get the movie on the screen. Hopefully this one has improved.

The Hudson Cinema 9 replaced the Hudson Cinema 4 years ago. In the recent years, an entirely new theater has been built- the Hudson Cinema 12. To get to it, take exit four off of I-94E and take a right (going South). Take a right at the stop sign and the theater is on the right.

I live right on the other side of the river in MN so I figured I’d check this one out. Been curious about it over the years cause you can see it from the freeway if you’re driving through WI on your way to somewhere else.

Wasn’t every busy for a summer weekday. Very comfy. Leather rocking seats, stadium seating, all that jazz. They give you the cups and you fill your own cup around the corner. Kind of weird. There are signs that say ‘Only large get free refills’ but I don’t think they can enforce that well. It’s a little out of the way down a frontage road but 2-3 minutes from major shopping and a highway so I’m sure it does well. I’d go back.
