Back side

Amazing modernistic building with 456 seats in parterre and balcony, built in 1937 and opened with Charles Chaplin in “Modern Times”. It has a large imitation of cinema screen at the front side of the building (unique detail, rarely used in modernistic architecture). Inside, walls was covered with wood and on each side of the door that leads to balcony and parterre were place for movie announcements.

The Central Kino was closed on 1st May 1999, and a church bought it and changed interior and they plan to change the exterior.
