The Excelsior Theatre was a small theatre in a city full of major theatre chains. It played movies such as "Pick-Up Artist" and "Raising Arizona", but was closed on Mondays.
Today it operates as a live music venue, known as the Masquerade.

Now “Masquerade”, a live music venue. Was in a building that had been converted into an entertainment venue with multiple venues inside that was an Excelsior Mill from way back when. Has been threatened with destruction about a million times since the 80’s, but seems to be still standing. Last I heard it had three levels, Heaven, Hell and Purgatory, very young crowd I think.

They had the best pizza ever at the Excelsior Mill in the 80’s. We’d have pizza and go see a film. It was my guilty pleasure to drive all the way from Dunwoody to go there.
