Open 1940-1980?

Owners:

1961-1969 Beechler Circuit?

1975-1980 Co-opererative Theaters of Michigan, out of the Fox Bldg., in Detroit. At one time they had 101 theaters in Michigan?

I also found an address of 799 Clinton???

Anyone have more info or photos?

The building is still standing and in use for retail purposes, the correct address is 7-9 as listed in the header.

Rivest is wrong again on the opening date. The Grand opening was June 2, 1938. They also list an incorrect address of 789. 789 would put it out of the downtown district and over by Citizens Park. The theatre was located in the heart of the main shopping district at 7-9.
