The Grand Theatre was an early storefront theatre, located on the N. Franklin Street business strip. The building was built in 1900 and the theatre was opened December 21, 1914 with Antony Novelli in “Julius Caesar”. One old picture shows an outlet store operating out of the building in 1932; however, apparently the 1952 Film Daily Yearbook still has the theatre listed. It had closed by 1955. It became a restaurant and by 2021 was in use as a bar.
