**I know exactly where the Ansonia Theatre is on Rutherfordton Street in Downtown Wadesboro,and according to your vital research and information,this cinema must have opened before the Ansonia did.
Don’t know what year it opened but it was operating in 1950 with 275 seats (Alomst half the size of the Ansonia) and owned by Stewart & Everett Theatres thru 1961. So both theatres were owned by the same company.
