The Ritz Theatre was operating in downtown Mesa as early as 1940. It was located a block from the Nile Theatre on W. Main Street.

The theatre was closed in the early-1950’s and was demolished. A new building housing retail shops is now on the site where the Ritz Theatre once stood.

Any further information on the Ritz Theatre would be appreciated.
