The Rocket Drive-In was in Samson, Alabama. One of two drive-ins in this town, it was owned by J.R. Pate and held 250 cars.

Open in 1955 and closed in the early-1960’s. The other drive-in in Samson was the Top Drive-In.

Approx. location for this drive-in was the SE corner of Alabama 87 & County Road 16. Some ramps though barely visible are still there.

The screen is hidden by the overgrown woods and concession/projection foundation are also still there.
