The official website for the city of Standish mentions a Temple Theatre opening in 1916. Another historical book states that it was opened by Alex Forsyth and was located on N. Forest Street.

The Temple Theatre continued to operated until at least 1950.

Did some more digging. It was at 120 N. Forest St. and has been torn down for a Citizens Bank branch.
