Opened in 1998 with four screens by Landmark Theatres with seating listed at 840. By 2005, five new screens were built next to the existing theatre in a joint venture with Landmark and Empire Theatres.

The old four-plex was gutted and remodeled and all nine auditoriums feature stadium seating. The complex is now operated by Empire Theatres featuring first run attractions. When the new nine plex was completed and opened they closed the 70 year old Strand Theatre on 10th Street.
