Located in the Westville district of New Haven. The Westville Theatre was operating prior to 1941, and continued until at least 1950.

According the Wikipedia entry for Westville, the former Westville Theatre is now an antiques store: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westville_(New_Haven)).

That is not this Westville Theatre, which is demolished. The previous Westville Theatre was also known as the West Rock Theatre and was just down the road at 827 Whalley Avenue. See my photos of it at http://www.cinematour.com/tour/us/35275.html
