The Lyric Theatre was opened by 1915. By 1926 it had been renamed National Theatre and had 800 seats. In the 1930’s it was renamed Studio Theatre. By 1937 it had been renamed Roxy Theatre. It continued to operate until at least 1952. It became the Lux Theatre and finally the Uptown Theatre.
