Lighthouse Cinema

Built on the site of the former Vic Bars and Victoria Bingo Club (originally the 1929 Victoria Cinema). The Lighthouse Cinema opened on 6th May 2011. It is operated by the independent WTW Cinemas, who operated cinemas in Truro, St. Austell and Wadebridge. It is the first cinema to operate in the town for 16 years, since the Camelot Cinema closed.

All screens have digital projection and sound, and wall to wall screens. Two screens are equipped to screen 3D films. Screen 1 has a raised stage area, for live performances, and conference use. The cinema has a licenced bar.

Despite the date in the camera data, my photographs were taken in June 2013.

There are more photos of the Lighthouse Cinema here, at the web site of NBDA Architects, the firm that designed the theater.
