The Movie Tavern Providence Town Center opened July 12, 2011, with 8 auditoriums, 1,000 seats and full waiter service, in the new outdoor shopping ‘main street’ in the Philadelphia suburbs. This is the 15th location for the company and the first in the Northeastern part of the United States.
Opening movies were “Horrible Bosses”, “Larry Crowne” and “Zookeeper”. At midnight on July 13, 2011, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part II” opened in the remaining auditoriums. The July 13, 2011 VIP Open House was a gala charity benefit for the Upper Township Fire and Emergency Service, Mont Clare.
