The Nova Theatre was opened on January 24, 1938. It was taken over by Odeon Theatre of Canada in 1946, and was renamed Odeon.
The Odeon was closed in 1958, and Odeon Theatres built and opened their Odeon Drive-In to replace it.

When I was in North Vancouver in 1966 and later in the 70s, there was an Odeon Totem theatre on Lonsdale, would this not be the same one? It was an indoor theater, not a drive-in.
The Totem and the Odeon both have the same address. Both owned by Odeon, the only difference was the seating capacity.
