Located in the Montmartre district of Paris. The Cinemas Axis opened as a twin screen cinema in 1973 specialising in erotic films. A third screen was added in 1975 and it went over to screening uncensored adult porno films. By 1985 it was known as Cinema X.
It was closed in the early-1990’s. It went over to video presentations in individual cabins. That had closed by October 2011 It is now a sauna.
