General Cinema Corporation opened this theatre in 1999. Located adjacent to the Owings Mills Mall, this theatre was one of a few GCC theatres that featured their dine-in concept in three auditoriums.
In 2002, AMC Theatres took over operations after acquiring GCC theatres.

This theatre opened with five THX certified auditoriums: 10, 11, Premium 1, Premium 2, Premium 3 (15-17). I believe the THX signs are still posted outside their respective auditoriums. General Cinema showed THX and Dolby trailers when they operated the theatre.
The Premium auditoriums were the former dine-in screens, which still have their cocktail tables and plush seating.
One of the former THX houses, auditorium 10, has been retrofitted with digital IMAX. Fandango indicates that the first IMAX film will be Journey 2 in IMAX 3D, which starts February 10.
