Located in the up-market Jardim Paulista district. The Cine Astor opened in 1960 with Mitzi Gaynor in “South Pacific”, presented in Todd-AO. It was considered the most modern and luxurious cinemas in the city.
The Cine Astor was closed in 2001. The space is now occupied by the Academia Bio Ritma.
