Town Hall Cinema

The Cobar Town Hall was built in 1893 and converted to use a a cinema. It doubles as the Cobar Entertainment Centre providing the cinema and stage, foyer and function rooms for films, exhibitions and theatrical performances. Cobar is a town of about 5,000 in northwest NSW, built following the discovery of gold and silver. A high percentage of older buildings survive giving the town a great historic look.
