Lyric Theater

The Lyric Theater in Temperanceville opened in 1913 as a general purpose theater and community center, eventually becoming a regular venue for the showing of silent motion pictures. It appears to have closed in the late-1920’s. Sound equipment was never installed. The building later housed a produce business, with the auditorium used for storage. The building still stands as of 2012.
