This discount theatre was located as free standing theatre in a shopping center. It was opened by AMC on December 25, 1969 and operated most of the 1980’s.

I used to frequent here as a kid. They used to have double features and show Grindhouse horror moies.

Another theater I went to many times in my youth. I saw Porky’s and Conan the Barbarian here to name a few of the movies I saw here as a teen. I quit going to this theater as much when Westridge mall opened.(now desert sky mall) . Ah, great memories.

AMC Theatres opened here as the Westdale 4 Theatres on December 25, 1969, and described it as Arizona’s first four theatre complex. Later operators include Century Cinema Circuit in 1975 and The Showplace Theatres in 1977.
