Eglinton Electreum Picture House

Located in the South Side Glasgow inner-city district of Laurieston. The Eglinton Electreum Picture House was opened on 14th December 1911. It was a conversion of a shop and outbuildings by architect James McKissack. The long and narrow auditorium was reached by stairs leading down from the tenements. It had a 24 feet wide proscenium,

The Eglinton Electreum Picture House was closed in May 1955, and was quickly demolished.
