Located across Interstate 280 from its three sister theatres the Century 21, 22 and 23, the Century 24 opened its doors for a July 18, 1968 1:30 pm screening of “Gone with the Wind”.

A wall was built down the middle of the dome and reopened for the public as a twin on June 17, 1973.

In 2006 the Century 24 was separated from her sisters Century 21, 22 and 23 when Century Theatres sold to Cinemark.

Not many domes left. I know that the Century 21 in Salt Lake City was demolished in 1998.
