Odeon Swadlincote

Located in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Originally a development by Reel Cinemas, this five screen multiplex opened under Odeon ownership on 11 November 2011. A ground floor entrance leads up to the first floor box office and concession counter. Internally the cinema is an intersting mixture of the styles of the two circuits – with ‘Reel-style’ brightly coloured (almost garish) corridors and ‘Odeon-style’, rather more tasteful, dark blue auditoriums – presumably due to the takeover of the project by Odeon while the cinema was under construction.
