Viewing: Photo | Street View

The 6-screen Beltway Movies 6 was opened on March 7, 1997 by independent operator Robert Wienholt, but it was closed in December 1997. Taken over by Greater Baltimore Cinemas it reopened in June 1998. It is located in the Beltway Plaza Shopping Center, which once housed the former Beltway Plaza Twin, but in a different section of the shopping center. Seating is provided in the auditoriums for 210, 85, 85, 147, 148 and 150.

The Beltway Movies is now operated by Horizon Cinemas and in December 2011 it was expanded to 8 screens.

Exterior pictures of the theater can be seen here. The theater’s page at Horizon Cinemas appears to indicate that theater now has eight screens.
