Odeon opened the Cambie Theatre in 1944 with seating listed at 450. The theatre closed in 1961 and is now an Asian Restaurant.

The Cambie is described in this January 8th, 1938 trade report, which suggests that it opened in late 1937 and not in 1944 as introduction claims. Seating capacity was cited as 700: Boxoffice
