Gateway Stadium 14

Regal Cinemas announced the construction of Edwards Eastvale Gateway Stadium 14 in the Riverside Press-Enterprise in August of 2006. It was said that a cinema was needed to fill the gap between Riverside county and Ontario Mills in San Bernardino County, which was nine miles away.

After three days of free movies, reduced concession prices and charitable events, the 2,400-seat cinema had its grand opening on December 14, 2007. In Riverside the AMC Galleria at Tyler, about 14 miles away, opened two days earlier.

The theater had at times been described as being in the cities of Mira Loma or Norco. The location is no longer questionable because on October 1, 2010 the community of Eastvale became an officially incorporated city.
