The Pacific Theatres Ontario 10 opened on December 9, 1988 making it the chain’s 24th walk-in location in the Los Angeles area. The eventually outdated theater, about 8 miles away from the Ontario Mills, remained open until October 10, 2002.

The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin noted in November of 2002 that the Montecito Baptist Church, considering it a miracle, had purchased the former theater for $2.1 million.
