Opened by UA Theatres as the Movies at Marketplace in 1990, the theater came under the management of the Liebe Entertainment Group in 2009 which closed it in September of 2012 when a new megaplex opened in nearby Deltona. It was then acquired by Orlando-based Colonial Six, Inc., which reopened it in November 2012.
