Luxury Theatres opened the six-screen East Sprague Cinemas on June 3, 1983. In November of 1988 the Spokane Chronicle announced that Tom Moyer was selling his Luxury Theatres to Act III Theatres.

The Newspaper ads of January 1, 1999 showed Regal Cinemas as the new operator of all of Spokane’s Act III Theatres. Regal ran the East Sprague until it closed it on August 4, 2000 and in December it was converted to a church’s teen center.
