The Marpole Theatre was opened prior to 1941. The Odeon chain ran the Marpole Theatre on SW Marine Drive in Vancouver until about the late-1960’s, when the theatre was sold. Following its acquisition and renovation by a local theatre society, it reopened as the Metro Theatre, which puts on live performances.
